How much do I need to pack for a general move?

With a general move, you take care of the packing. If your belongings aren't packed on moving day, the move type changes and extra charges apply.

• Fragile items (monitors, TVs, expensive appliances, glassware, plates, ceramics): Wrap them in cushioning such as bubble wrap so they won't break if they get bumped in transit.
• Small items (books, clothes, household goods): Put them in size 5 or larger boxes or sturdy baskets, and tape them shut so nothing spills out.

Items that break because of poor packing are not compensated. If packing yourself is difficult, tell us when you get your estimate. You can switch to a semi-pack move or a full-pack move.
